I feel I've become a lot more feminist in recent years in reaction to "Catholic" manosphere influencers who say feminism is the root of all evil (Tim Gordon, Bug Hall) etc and constantly make claims that only men are fit to lead etc. Never once do they address the causes that led to the early feminist movement. Not once do they address the fact that it's a good thing women can leave abusive marriages. It's a good thing women can be financially independent. So I'm proud to align myself with the Catholic women who don't put up with their bullshit and robustly defend (as JPII did) women's full and equal participation in society.

This is such a well done article about one of those super touchy topics. I agree wholeheartedly with every point you have come to in the end. I too am a woman. I have dignity & love & deserve to be treated respectfully just because I am a woman. I’ve come a long way to embrace my femininity also. I was the only girl in my family. The middle child. I now have 5 of my own mostly grown children and numbers 6&7 grandchildren are on their way, twins by April 1st. I’ve found my power as a woman. I speak when I need to. I also hate all injustice.

Thank you for your well done writing and witnessing.
